What should I do if I have a fine or block?

When items are overdue, lost, or damaged, patrons can accrue a balance. Depending on the frequency or amount, it might also result in an account block. Often the balance can be resolved by returning items in good condition before the library sends billing information to the Business Office. How do I renew something I checked out?

If a due date is coming up for an item you'd like to borrow longer, you can often renew the loan. To view your library account information, go to the library catalog and sign in using your campus email. Under "My dashboard," choose "Holds & checkouts." For items that are eligible for renewal, click "Renew." Alternatively, you can request renewals by replying to the reminder email or by calling the Circulation Desk at 573-592-4289.
